Increase your Wi-Fi network with the new PLCs from TP-LINK

TP-LINK has announced two new PLCs, the TL-WPA4220KIT and the TL-WPA2220KIT, both with Wi-Fi connectivity and designed to increase the range of your connection, no matter if it’s wired or wireless, in your home and office through the existing electrical wiring.

Both kits include two adapters. The smaller is connected to your router and acts as an emitter. The other one acts as receiver and extender and can be set anywhere you need it; you can connect more devices to it thanks to its Ethernet ports. It features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n so you can connect any mobile device to it and offers speeds of 300 Mbps.

Two speeds for different needs

These two kits have been designed for different needs. The TL-WPA2220KIT offers a speed of 200 Mbps thanks to the PLC technology, enough for a domestic network.

Meanwhile, the TL-WPA4220KIT uses the AV500 standard, offering speeds of 500 Mbps, very useful to, for example, stream Full HD 3D video and online gaming.

Wi-Fi cloning with a click

TP-LINK’s new devices feature Plug & Play functionality, so increasing the range of your network is simply a matter of connecting the device.

The intuitiveness of it all doesn’t end there, since cloning the Wi-Fi networks simply takes the press of a single button.

Thanks to this simple system, which automatically detects the SSID and password, the network is configured automatically, so you can use the network and connect your devices with the passwords you previously used.

Both PLCs from TP-LINK are now available. The TL-WPA4220KIT costs 79.90 Euros and the TL-WPA2220KIT costs 64.90 dollars.
